"Manev&Partners" contributes to cessation of an infringement of a registered trademark

12 March 2013

With the cooperation of "Manev & Partners" was stopped an infringement against registered trademark. While implementing the defense strategy the competent authorities withdrew from the market 86 943 pieces of packed diary products, labeled in violation of active trademark registration.

Rights of registered industrial property objects are often subject of infringement. Their protection and the fight against these violations is an important focus in the practice of "Manev & Partners". In its long-standing practice, during the first imposed border measurement in Bulgaria and related litigations for infringement of registered trademark rights, "Manev & Partners" have been working on many cases concerning retained and destroyed goods - over 1.4 million counterfeit articles which include accessories for writing, lighters, razors, clothing and shoes and perfumery and cosmetics. In the above mentioned quantities are not included pharmaceutical products, which have been subject to an effective protection, both in Bulgaria and abroad and in particular in Russia, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia and other former Soviet republics.

The fight against counterfeiting and violations of industrial property is a priority activity of "Manev & Partners". You could count on our support in case of need. For more information, please, refer to the following address: kmanev@manevandpartners.com
